End of a Journey, Start of another.

End of a Journey, Start of another.

Two days I officially closed my long running website SailfinSims after over seven years of being online and active. (For those of you who aren’t gamers, this was a site entirely devoted to the Sims series, where I and others created custom content for these games.)

As sad as I am to see it go, it was time and to honest, a relief. I think in my need to hold on to something I was proud of, I kept it online far longer that perhaps I should have.

My priorities have changed significantly over the last three years and the time required to give a hundred percent to run an online community, I just didn’t have.
However, the creative drive in me isn’t going anywhere; I just have an additional outlet to feed that need…writing.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone I have met from the Sims community along the way and the fabulous Simmers that made SailfinSims such a success. I count myself very fortunate as most of them have become some of my closest friends and are still supporting me in my future endeavours.

NOTE: For those Simmer looking for my custom content, you can find it here under the “Other Creative Outlets” on the main menu. I will be adding my content from SailfinSims over the next couple of weeks. Sooner, if I have time.

Ahhh, good to hear about your Sims creations! I was terribly frightened upon thinking your wonderful TS3 creations would forever remain non-existent. 🙁 I am delighted to hear otherwise! Do keep them alive, for I love your old creations. …And sharing your writings, too! Seeing these works of yours are like music to a fellow writer and gamer. 🙂
